Build A Complete Quartz Stone Factory,Not Just A Production Line
From Equipment Manufacturing to Full Line Delivery
This ZHUODI project shows what goes into an engineered quartz slab polishing line, from manufacturing the equipment to carrying out the project.

For quartz slab manufacturers, the polishing line plays an important role in surface finish quality and in how production is organized.
When customers plan to buy a new polishing line, they usually start with clear requirements for the line specification, slab dimensions, target output, and finished product.
A complete line requires its machines to work together. Every stage of the project, from equipment selection and manufacturing to line integration and on-site work, needs to reflect how the customer plans to produce slabs.
ZHUODI recently put together a project record for a 2000 mm quartz slab polishing line to show the work involved as the project moves from equipment manufacturing into implementation.
The project is located in Yunfu, Guangdong, China.
Project Item | Details |
Project type | Quartz slab polishing line |
Line specification | 2000 mm |
Location | Yunfu, Guangdong, China |
Project period | August 5 to October 10, 2026 |
Design capacity | At least 1,200 m² per day |
Design capacity is an important planning figure. Actual output depends on slab dimensions, product type, production pace, equipment configuration, operating practices, and process conditions. Evaluate the capacity target in the context of the entire production system.

Setting production goals is the first step. To plan a polishing line that fits the factory, consider these questions.
· What types of slabs will the line mainly process?
· What slab widths, thicknesses, and other dimensions are required?
· What is the target daily output?
· What surface finish is required?
· What equipment is already in place, and what are the site conditions?
· Is this a new factory or an upgrade to an existing line?
The answers guide equipment selection and project planning. The right line configuration depends on each customer’s products, output targets, and factory conditions.
A complete line project involves several stages.
Equipment Manufacturing
The equipment is built to meet the specifications set for the project.
Equipment Assembly
After manufacturing, the equipment is assembled and prepared according to the project requirements.
Line Integration
The team plans the process flow, conveyor direction, and processing rates so the machines work together across the line.
On Site Work
Depending on the project scope, on-site work may include installation, commissioning, training, and technical support.
The project scope determines how these stages are scheduled. Equipment manufacturing, site installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance are separate milestones.

Machine speed, working width, and equipment configuration are all worth checking. Buyers also need to consider how the equipment will run as a complete line.
· Do the upstream and downstream processing stages work together?
· Can slabs move smoothly between machines?
· Can the equipment handle the required slab sizes and product types?
· Does the line layout fit the factory site?
· Will there be enough access for maintenance and room for future expansion?
These questions belong in the same line design review. When comparing suppliers, look at how well they can plan and coordinate the complete line as well as the specifications of individual machines.
